Tokyo Resort Disneyland
Apparently the Tokyo Resort Disneyland is a big deal in Tokyo (and in Japan). I saw pictures once of a visit to the Tokyo Resort Disneyland, pictures that came with a description, and man, oh, man was that chaotic. Of course, I've never been to Disneyland US, so for all I know it's even worse. But what I heard was pretty dang crazy, and I gathered the impression that the person reporting back had also been to Disneyland US and that they thought that the Tokyo Resort Disneyland was worse, but I could be mistaken.
Tokyo Resort Tickets
For one thing, there were two major lines before one even got into the park; one line was for tickets and the other was for actual park admission. And apparently both of these lines for the Tokyo Resort Disneyland were incredibly long. Once one did get into the Tokyo Resort people immediately started running for their favorite eateries to make reservations for lunch and dinner in the Tokyo Resort (yes, that early in the morning). All of this, and nobody has even gotten in line yet! Unless you're smart like the person I read about, who simply ate much earlier than everyone else to avoid having to spend half the morning in line for lunch and supper.
Tokyo Resort Rides
All this and we haven't even gotten to the Tokyo Resort rides yet! The lines for that varied, but some of them involved up to a ninety minute wait in line for a ride that was maybe a few minutes at best. That, to me, is just not worth it no matter how awesome and popular the Tokyo Resort is. Quite honestly standing in line for longer than the reward I'm waiting for (the length of the ride, in layman's English), is just not worth it to me, but to each his or her own Tokyo Resort.

And this isn't the only Tokyo Resort Disney. They also have Disneysea, which is kind of a Caribbean/Venice inspired Tokyo Resort that is less of a Disneyland rides-focused Tokyo Resort (though they still have rides) and much more focused on the lovely Caribbean/Italian inspired design, the water, the stuff you can climb and and down and around, and other more water-based activities (I know, my description is lame and unhelpful; you go visit and give a better description of the Tokyo Resort). In short, it's a prettier, more adult version of Disneyland Tokyo Resort. Better? Worse? You tell me.
